On Sunday 5th October, almost 50 Cub Scouts from across Crawley came together to battle it out in the annual Conker Competition!
This fun-filled event brings together Cub Scouts of all abilities — from seasoned champions to first-time players — to compete in good spirits and show their best conker skills.
With 12 out of 15 packs represented, the Cub Scouts were split into four random leagues, each fighting for victory. After many thrilling matches, Charlie (1st Northgate / 2nd Ifield) emerged as this year’s overall winner! 
Running alongside the competition, 4th Worth hosted a delicious cake sale in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research, raising almost £200 for a fantastic cause. 
A huge thank you to all the parents, volunteers, Cub Scouts, and helpers who made the event such a success — we can’t wait for next year!
